Arcade basketball on your Android
Basketball Mania is a free game for Android in which you have to shoot hoops in an arcade-style basketball net.
With 40 seconds on the clock, you have to reach a certain number of points in order to progress to the next stage of the level. Once you've completed that level you'll unlock the next stage. The aim is to unlock and finish all five stages. This is easier said than done because the targets are tough, especially when the basketball hoop starts moving.
You play Basketball Mania by flicking the balls with your finger towards the hoop. If it lands directly in the basket you get three points, if it hits the ring on the way down you get two.
Ultimately the gameplay in Basketball Mania gets very repetitive and monotonous, and there's not even a two player mode that can increase its longevity.
Basketball Mania is great for killing five minutes on a bus journey, but it's not the kind of game you'll be coming back to.
